On August 27, China Telecom Blockchain and Digital Economy Joint Laboratory officially released the "5G Age Blockchain Smart Phone White Paper" (hereinafter referred to as "Whitepaper") at the China International Intelligent Industry Expo in 2019.
The White Paper describes a Blockchain application ecosystem of created by China Telecom, uses the unique decentralization technology to lead the new change of digital economy, provides a more secure hardware infrastructure for 5G mobile phones, makes 5G mobile phones gradually become the nodes of decentralized computing and data, forms a new value transmission network, and shapes the security architecture of mobile phones.
In recent years, a new round of information technology evolution, represented by Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Mobile Payment, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and the Fifth Generation Mobile Communication Network Technology (5G), has developed rapidly in China. The publication of China Telecom’s Whitepaper has once again ignited the enthusiasm of Blockchain mobile phones, which is expected to make the Blockchain mobile phones truly enter consumer’s daily life, especially in the 5G era that the everyone is looking forward to.
The Whitepaper points out that 5G Blockchain mobile phone has five application scenarios: digital identity authentication, financial application, supply chain traceability application, judicial application and express industry application. Particularly noteworthy are financial applications and supply chain traceability applications.
