On July 5th a group of students from Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School visited the HSN Office in Shenzhen. HSN Co-founder Peter Jia hosted the group and showcased HSN’s R&D strength and general project development direction.
Established in April 2001, Tsinghua University Shenzhen Graduate School is located in Xili University City, Nanshan District. This high-level talents training and technology innovation base is jointly established by Tsinghua University and Shenzhen City Government, which is also the only off-location educational institution of Tsinghua University, forming an important part of world-class top university.
During the visit, Peter Jia introduced the current development of the company, the application ecology of 5G + Blockchain and HSN’s roadmap. 5G undoubtedly is another tech evolution after the internet. 5G is set to speed up real-time communication between various devices a thousand times faster than current technology, and accelerate a new generation of innovative technology such as AI, blockchain, big data, and cloud service, which further improve the social productivity and efficiency.
Blockchain operates as distributed ledger and each transaction or modification of the data are being digitally recorded and distributed, but not edited or deleted. Blockchain technology’s decentralized nature theoretically prevents vulnerable devices from inputting false information and damaging the network. HSN perfectly integrates Blockchain technology and communication technology to build an ecological network system for the secure interoperability of data information.
In the near future, HSN will be widely used in cloud VR/AR, Smart Security, Internet of Vehicles (IoV), Smart City, Smart Manufacturing, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), SD-WAN + NAS, Mesh products, edge computing modules, and other applications of the 5G environment. Aiming to utilize blockchain technology, HSN strikes to contribute to 5G digital era development, and together creates a trust network for cooperations and innovations.
